The Malay Activities Groups of Fuchun Community Centre & Marsiling Community Centre were launched on 31 August 1997 by Member of Parliament for Sembawang GRC (Marsiling), Mr. Hawazi Daipi.

Both groups are now called Malay Activity Executive Committee (MAEC)
