Objectives of The Workshop:

For Malay Dance Instructors & Would-be Instructors:

To provide them with the opportunity to enhance their skills and techniques in performing traditional Malay dances
To provide them with better understanding and appreciation of traditional Malay dance choreography
To enlighten Malay dance instructors and would-be instructors the proper instructing methodology, approach and techniques

For Dancers & Would-be Dancers:

To provide the opportunity to understand and appreciate traditional Malay dances
To provide the opportunity to acquire the basic skills and techniques in traditional Malay dances

The Instructors & Presenters of the Workshop seek to:

To share our dance workshop experiences as artistes and educators
To investigate how our skills as educators and performers can be broadened
